Rascal Flatts called it quits in 2020 when they announced their farewell tour after 20 years together- only to have that tour cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The band said in a statement that they simply had needed a break. Since the pandemic (and that break) the trio says they are ready to get out on the road again with their “Life Is A Highway” Tour in 2025.
And a new tour means new music. Rascal Flatts released their first single since 2020 with “I Dare You”- written by Nick Jonas and Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney.
“We’re so excited to kick off this next chapter of Rascal Flatts with this single, working with Kevin, Joe and Nick is such a blast, they’re class acts,” Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus said in a statement. “I think this song fits perfectly into our catalogue while also showing off something new and exciting, and we can’t wait to share it with our fans on the road!”
