Okay, I’ll admit that unless they’re overed in ranch dressing or otherwise null and void of most nutritional value, I’m not big on eating my vegetables. That might be about to change! It’s a new study where researches in Japan have linked an antioxidant in vegetables to fewer gray hairs.
They did the test on mice and found that those who ate more luteolin kept their black fur longer than the mice not exposed to the antioxidant. More research is being done to see if there is also a link to hair loss in addition to color.
So… What veggies do you need to eat to get some luteolin in your body? celery, broccoli, carrots, onions and peppers are all good choices!
