$287,731. That’s somehow the magic number we would need in the bank account to feel okay with quitting our job to travel the world.
The survey was done nationwide by TravelBinger.com, and asked 2,000 people what it would take financially to make their travel dreams a reality. For the record, younger generations (read: Gen-Z), needed less cash on hand- Only $211,000. The older generations made up for it by saying they needed upwards of $335,000 to get up and go.
There were a few that said they only needed $50k. Guess you’re not going to be flying first class on that budget.
