A scary moment for Jason Aldean over the weekend at a show in Connecticut. Videos posted to Twitter show Aldean rushing off stage during “Crazy Town” as he struggles to complete the chorus- stopping part way through the song to cough. Doctors diagnosed Aldean with heat stroke.
Temperatures during the show were in the Mid 80’s, and one concert goer described it on Twitter as ““It was hotter than hell. It was bad enough just standing in the pit I can’t imagine performing in jeans, boots, and hat under all those lights in that humidity with no breeze. Hope he’s okay!”
Jason went on his Twitter page Sunday to reassure fans that he is okay and that his tour will continue. Attendees of the show in Connecticut Saturday night will get a rescheduled date for when it’s hopefully cooler outdoors.
Thanks everyone for checking in on me. Hartford, we’ll share rescheduled info soon. Saratoga Springs, see ya tonite!🤘🏼 pic.twitter.com/wVWGAmDmSZ
